Beginning with peonies from my grandmother’s original farm, our flower stand was created to share locally grown bouquets and a little beauty with the community.

Community Flowers
We believe everyone deserves fresh flowers. Community bouquets are set aside for those who may not be able to purchase, no questions asked, just beauty to share. If you'd like to contribute, feel free to add a few extra dollars to your purchase. Every little bit helps brighten someone's day.
Our Story
Holly grew up with dirt under her fingernails and flowers in her line of sight. While she was raised on a Central Pennsylvania farm she spent her summers with her grandparents at their Flickerdale Farm. Her grandfather, a Columbia-educated man who chose dairy cows over a desk, and her grandmother, an artist, shaped a childhood rooted in the kind of beauty that comes from both hard work and a careful eye.
That upbringing never really left her. Though life carried Holly through the energy of New York City and into a career in tech, the pull of the land was always there.Today she prefers peonies and dahlias, zinnias and sunflowers, and tomatoes grown with intention all summer long to riding the subway. Her two dogs keep busy on a tireless mission against the local groundhog population, and her partner keeps everything looking sharp.
Holly has shown horses her whole life but watching her granddaughter catch the same bug might be the best part.
The flower stand grew naturally out of all of it; heirloom peonies passed down from her grandmother's original farm, and a full season of blooms that carry right through autumn. Cut and arranged with the same care that's been in the family for generations. Flickerdale is a family place, a little patch of beauty, and something very much worth sharing.
